April Show and Tell

April Show and Tell brings in lots of lovely quilts.  As usual, I am amazed by all of the talented ladies in our group!  I am looking forward to our quilt show this fall, as I can wait to see all of these quilts brought together in one place.  It should be most inspiring.

Shirley shows a spring time wall hanging.

Malea is donating this patriotic quilt to a soldier.

The quilts above and below were made by Carol to be given to soldiers as well.

"Daisies In the Cabin" is the name of this most striking quilt made by Carol.

A lucky toddler will get this fun quilt called ""My Favorite Things", made by Lynette.

Shirley made this Job's Tears quilt, I really like the change of colors in the background fabrics.

A "10 Minute Block" table runner made in autumn colors by Carol.

Donna (above) and Barb (below) have also made Patriot quilts to give to soldiers.

As you can see a lot of nice quilts are coming in for our soldiers.  Deanna reported at the meeting that so far we have about 50 quilts that will go toward our soldiers.  If you can help to carry quilts in the Mountain Memorial Day Parade, please let Deanna know.  Also, if you know of anyone else who might like to help us with the parade, that would be great as well.  Quilts will also be displayed at Tabor Church in Mountain, in conjunction with the Veteran's Cemetery Service.
