Artwork of Pat Bishop

Our guild was so fortunate to have quilt artist Pat Bishop, as our guest speaker.   It was so inspiring to see her artwork, as well as learn about her, and her inspiration for her art.  Beautiful work, such as hers, does not just happen, it takes many hours of work.  Her talent and dedication to her work certainly show in the beautiful pieces she showed us.
We were also fortunate enough to have her do a two day workshop for us; Ragged and Real.  For those of you who took advantage of this opportunity, I am sure you had a great two days.  I know I have many ideas on how to use the techniques we were taught.  Not just in art quilts, but traditional quilts as well.  My mind is full of ideas and that's a wonderful feeling!
