Fabric of Survival

I was sent an email with information concerning an upcoming exhibit at the Jewish Museum of Milwaukee.  It is called Fabric of Survival, The Art of Esther Nisenthal Krinitz.  It is a story in fabric and embroidery made  by a Polish woman who survived the Nazi regime while she was still a young girl.  This looks to be a wonderful exhibit that shows how this woman used fabric and thread to work through her history and grief. There are 36 pieces in this exhibit which starts in February.

Also, there are a lot of programs that would be of great interest at the Jewish Museum of Milwaukee.

Please take a look at the Fabric of Survival link and it will make you realize how important this art form is.
