Quiltmaker Magazine is coming out very shortly with their third volume of 100 quilt blocks designed by some of todays best designers. It looks really nice and I was reminded of how great it is to have well written instructions when Carol showed us a really beautiful book at the last sewing session. It had no measurements what so ever for the components of the blocks! Yikes...I know you could sit down and figure out some of them but others, I'm not so sure.
Anyway, I visited a couple of the blogs for some of the designers and found some nice goodies. Vickie Eapen at Spunsugar Quilts has many great tutorials listed on the sidebar of her blog. There are some great gift ideas there.
Vaness at Crafty Gemini has many tutorials and recipes, a lot of her tutorials are videos which are really informative.
Sonja at Artisania has some great patterns that are paper pieced for all you" p-pers"out there and I just love her Halloween pp patterns. If you need to refresh your skills or have never tried it before, she also has some detailed videos about paper piecing. Just can't beat that! These are just a few but some good ones.
Keep sewing. Diana
